On Wednesday, Houston raced out to a 12-point lead after one quarter and led by as many as 21 points during a 124-109 road triumph against Memphis.

Houston F Amen Thompson tallied a game-high 28 points (13-26 FG), ten rebounds, and seven assists. All-Star C Alperen Sengun contributed 20 points (8-10 FT), 16 rebounds, and seven assists. Tari Eason added 16 points and five rebounds off the bench for the Rockets.

Spurs Preview

The San Antonio Spurs are looking to snap a six-year postseason drought and have a significantly improved roster. The Spurs (5-2) rank second in the league in defensive efficiency and are limiting the opposition to 109.6 points per contest. On Wednesday, San Antonio was outscored by ten points during the fourth quarter of a 118-116 road loss against Los Angeles.

All-Star F/C Victor Wembanyama led seven San Antonio players in double figures with 19 points (5-14 FG) and eight rebounds. Second-year pro Stephon Castle added 16 points, eight assists, and five rebounds. Harrison Barnes and Julian Champagnie scored 14 points each for the Spurs.
