Pascal Siakam added 32 points, 15 rebounds, and four assists in his Pacers’ season debut. Obi Toppin finished with 20 points and five rebounds, and rookie Jarace Walker chipped in 13. The Pacers shot 44% from the field but hit only 13 of 43 three-point attempts.
Indiana gave up 141 points and 55 rebounds in the loss. The defense gave up too many open shots and allowed too many second looks. The backcourt remains short-handed with Andrew Nembhard and T.J. McConnell out, which limits options. Indiana will need to protect the paint and stay disciplined on defense to stay close against Minnesota.

Anthony Edwards is averaging 36 points per game through two contests while shooting 53% from the floor and 50% from three. Julius Randle adds 22.5 points and eight rebounds per game, giving Minnesota a strong inside-out combination. Jaden McDaniels contributes 14 points per game and continues to provide strong defense.

Minnesota is shooting 48.8% as a team and has held opponents to 45% shooting overall. Rudy Gobert and Naz Reid have anchored the paint, helping the Timberwolves average 10 blocks per game.
