Indiana proved they will still be a feisty opponent during a 141-135 double overtime loss versus visiting Oklahoma City.

Indiana G Bennedict Mathurin tallied a team-high 36 points (15-17 FT) and eight rebounds. All-Star F Pascal Siakam scored 32 points on 12-for-25 shooting and secured 15 rebounds. Obi Toppin added 20 points 20 points (8-18 FG) and five boards off the bench for the Pacers.

Grizzlies Preview

The Memphis Grizzlies were eliminated in the first round of last year’s playoffs and are looking to build around superstar G Ja Morant. The Grizzlies (1-1) received four first round draft picks in a surprise offseason deal that sent Desmond Bane to Orlando. Last night, Memphis surrendered 86 points during the first half of an ugly 146-114 home loss versus Miami.

Memphis F Jaren Jackson Jr. tallied a team-high 19 points on 7-for-14 shooting in just 21 minutes of action. Cedric Coward scored 16 points in 22 minutes off the bench. Ja Morant added 12 points and six assists for the Grizzlies, who missed 33 of 45 three-point attempts.
