Indiana Pacers vs Memphis Grizzlies Picks and Prediction for Wednesday November 4 2026
Indiana heads to Memphis on Wednesday for an 8 PM ET game against the Grizzlies at FedExForum. The Pacers are 2-5, while Memphis is 6-0 and still hasn’t lost a game. Well, at least the Grizzlies haven’t lost in regulation yet. They did get taken to overtime Monday, and New Orleans eventually beat them 135-134. Memphis has been scoring plenty, and Indiana has been having trouble keeping opponents from doing the same. At the time of this writing, the betting odds were not released. Indiana Pacers Are Having Trouble Getting Stops
Indiana lost 108-104 to Atlanta on Monday, and that followed a 98-90 loss to Brooklyn on Sunday. Before that, Miami hung 145 points on the Pacers in a 145-125 defeat. That’s three losses in three very different kinds of games, and none of them gives me much confidence in Indiana heading into Memphis.
The offense has been inconsistent, but the bigger concern is how many important pieces Indiana is missing. Tyrese Haliburton, Ivica Zubac, T.J. McConnell, and Obi Toppin were among the players listed out in the early injury report. Several other rotation players were questionable or dealing with injuries. That’s an awful lot to work around when you’re trying to beat one of the hottest teams in the league.
Now, Indiana can still score when it gets rolling. We saw that against Miami, even though the defense completely fell apart. The Pacers need to get Memphis into a game where they’re trading baskets and hope the Grizzlies have another rough defensive night. That’s possible, especially after Memphis just gave up 135 to New Orleans. But I don’t particularly like Indiana’s chances of winning that kind of contest.

Memphis Grizzlies Have Been Scoring in Bunches
Memphis is 6-1 after Monday’s 135-134 overtime loss to New Orleans. Before that, the Grizzlies beat Sacramento 136-105 and Portland 124-103. That’s 395 points scored over three games, and even with the extra period Monday, it’s obvious the offense has been doing its job.
What I like about Memphis is that the Grizzlies aren’t waiting around for somebody else to make a mistake. They’re putting pressure on defenses, getting good scoring opportunities, and forcing opponents to keep up. Indiana has been giving up too many points, and that’s not the matchup I’d want if I were trying to get the Pacers back on track.
The concern is defense. Memphis gave up 135 on Monday, and that’s not something you can just ignore. Indiana might be struggling, but the Pacers can still score enough to make things uncomfortable if the Grizzlies aren’t paying attention. I expect Memphis to be a little more focused defensively after that overtime loss. The Grizzlies don’t need to shut Indiana down completely. They just need to avoid another night where they’re giving up baskets every trip down the floor.
Indiana Pacers vs Memphis Grizzlies Picks and Prediction
Moneyline Pick: Memphis Grizzlies
I’m taking Memphis. Indiana has too many problems right now, and the injury situation makes it difficult to trust the Pacers against a team that’s been scoring like the Grizzlies. Memphis just put up 134 in an overtime loss, and it scored 136 against Sacramento before that. Indiana might hang around if its offense gets going, but I don’t see the Pacers getting enough stops to win. The Grizzlies are at home, they’re coming off their first loss, and I expect a better defensive effort. Give me Memphis.
Total Pick: Over — Pending Posted Line
I’m leaning over, although I want to see where the total lands. Memphis has scored 124, 136, and 134 in its last three games, and Indiana gave up 145 to Miami not long ago. There’s certainly enough offensive potential here to make an over attractive. The question is whether Indiana can contribute enough. The Pacers have scored only 90 and 104 in their last two games, and that concerns me. But Memphis has been allowing chances, and Indiana should find some opportunities. If the total opens at a reasonable number, I’d rather be on the over than count on either defense controlling the game.
Final Picks: Memphis Grizzlies Moneyline | Over (conditional lean)
