The Clippers (37-36) have won three straight games and have edged a half-game in front of Portland for eighth place in the Western Conference standings. On Wednesday, LA raced out to a 14-point lead after one quarter and shot 51 percent from the field during a 119-94 home victory versus Toronto.

All-Star F Kawhi Leonard led all scorers with 27 points (9-19 FG) and six rebounds. LA G Darius Garland scored 24 points on 9-for-16 shooting and dished out six assists. Bennedict Mathurin added 23 points off the bench for the Clippers, who nailed 16-for-35 from long distance.

Pacers Preview

The Indiana Pacers have dropped 26 of their first 36 home games and own the worst overall record in the NBA. The Pacers (16-57) rank near the bottom of the league in offensive efficiency and are scoring 111.9 points per contest. On Tuesday, Indiana allowed Los Angeles to shoot a sizzling 56 percent from the field during a 137-130 home loss.

Pascal Siakam led eight Indiana players in double figures with 20 points (7-15 FG) and eight rebounds. C Jay Huff scored 18 points on 7-for-10 shooting and pulled down six boards. Veteran G T.J. McConnell added 17 points in just 14 minutes off the bench for the Pacers, who knocked down 16-of-39 from the three-point line.
