The Lakers (34-24) are looking to snap a three-game losing streak and are sitting in sixth place in the Western Conference standings. On Thursday, Los Angeles was unable to make the plays down the stretch of a 113-110 road loss against Phoenix.

All-Star G Luka Doncic poured in a game-high 41 points (6-11 3PT), eight rebounds, and eight assists. Four-time MVP LeBron James scored 15 points on 7-for-16 shooting and pulled down six boards. Austin Reaves added 14 points for the Lakers, who shot 51 percent from the field.

Warriors Preview

The Golden State Warriors have won 19 of their first 30 home games and are floundering in eighth place in the Western Conference standings. The Warriors (31-28) rank 11th in the league in defensive efficiency and are giving up 113.8 points per contest. On Wednesday, Golden State assisted on 37 of 49 made field goals and shot 53 percent overall during a 133-122 road triumph against Memphis.

Will Richard led eight Golden State players in double figures with 21 points (9-15 FG) and six assists. Brandin Podziemski contributed 19 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. Gary Payton II added 19 points and five boards in 28 minutes off the bench for the Warriors.
