Two of the top teams in the NBA will square off on Thursday night, when the Los Angeles Lakers travel to the Paycom Center to face the Oklahoma City Thunder. On Tuesday, Los Angeles connected on 13-for-31 from long distance and shot 54 percent overall during a 127-113 home victory versus Cleveland.

All-Star G Luka Doncic erupted for a game-high 42 points on 13-for-26 shooting and dished out 12 assists. Los Angeles G Austin Reaves chipped in 19 points (2-9 3PT) and six boards. Four-time MVP LeBron James added 14 points, six assists, and five rebounds for the Lakers.

Thunder Preview

The Oklahoma City Thunder have won nine of their last ten games and are 2.5 games clear of San Antonio for the top spot in the Western Conference. The Thunder (60-16) lead the league in defensive efficiency and are limiting opponents to 107.6 points per contest. On Tuesday, Oklahoma City converted 28-of-32 from the charity stripe during a 114-110 overtime victory versus Detroit.

MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander poured in a game-high 47 points on 12-for-19 shooting and pulled down five boards. Oklahoma City G Ajay Mitchell scored 14 points (4-10 FG) in 36 minutes of action. All-Star F/C Chet Holmgren added 13 points and nine rebounds for the Thunder, who improved to 32-7 at home.
