On Wednesday, Memphis was outscored by 18 points during the second quarter of a 133-112 home loss versus Golden State.

Memphis F GG Jackson led all scorers with 24 points on 8-for-12 shooting and grabbed eight rebounds. Steady PG Ty Jerome scored 22 points (8-14 FG) and dished out five assists. Javon Small added 16 points and six rebounds for the Grizzlies, who knocked down 17-for-41 from long distance.

Mavericks Preview

The Dallas Mavericks are three games below .500 at home and have committed to rebuilding around number one overall draft pick Cooper Flagg. The Mavericks (21-37) rank near the bottom of the league in offensive efficiency and are scoring a shade below 115 points per contest. Last night, Dallas missed 13 of 34 free-throw attempts and failed to make the plays down the stretch of a 130-121 home loss versus Sacramento.

Dallas F Naji Marshall erupted for a game-high 36 points (14-23 FG) to go along with ten rebounds and six assists. Veteran G/F Khris Middleton added 17 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Brandon Williams scored 16 points on 6-for-10 shooting in 27 minutes off the bench for the Mavericks.
