On Monday, Memphis was unable to protect a 17-point first half lead during a 142-126 home loss versus a shorthanded Cleveland squad.

Memphis F Olivier-Maxence Prosper matched a game-high with 24 points on 10-for-12 shooting. Adama Bal and Dariq Whitehead scored 20 points each off the bench. Lucas Williamson added 17 points (5-12 3PT) and five rebounds for the Grizzlies, who nailed 29-for-59 from the three-point line.

Nuggets Preview

The Denver Nuggets are riding a nine-game winning streak and hold a half-game lead over Los Angeles for third place in the Western Conference standings. The Nuggets (51-28) lead the league in offensive efficiency and are scoring 121.8 points per contest. On Monday, Denver assisted on 37 of 52 made field goals and shot 51 percent overall during a 137-132 overtime victory versus Portland.

Three-time MVP Nikola Jokic poured in a game-high 35 points (15-31 FG) to go along with 14 rebounds and 13 assists. Denver F Aaron Gordon contributed 23 points, nine rebounds, and five assists. All-Star G Jamal Murray added 20 points (7-15 FG) and seven assists for the Nuggets, who improved to 26-13 at home.
