Bam Adebayo and Norman Powell led six Miami players in double figures with 20 points apiece on a combined 12-for-28 shooting effort. Davion Mitchell added 12 points (5-11 FG) and four assists for the Heat, who fell to 10-4 at home.

The Brooklyn Nets have dropped ten of their first 13 home games and are stuck near the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings. The Nets (7-18) rank 24th in the league in defensive efficiency and are giving up 115.9 points per contest. On Sunday, Brooklyn knocked down 19-for-43 from long distance and matched a franchise record for margin of victory with a 127-82 home victory versus Milwaukee.

Rookie G Egor Demin led a balanced Brooklyn scoring attack with 17 points on 6-for-8 shooting. Noah Clowney chipped in 16 points (4-8 3 PT) and three boards. Michael Porter Jr. added 12 points, six rebounds, and five assists for the Nets.
