On Monday, Miami outscored Denver by 22 points in the second half to run away with a 147-123 home victory.

Miami G Norman Powell led all scorers with 25 points on 9-for-16 shooting. Nikola Jovic contributed 22 points, five assists, and four rebounds in 26 minutes off the bench. Jaime Jaquez Jr. added 20 points and 11 assists for the Heat, who connected on 22-for-46 from long distance.

Pistons Preview

The Detroit Pistons have won 12 of their first 14 home games and hold a 1.5 game lead over New York for the top spot in the Eastern Conference. The Pistons (25-8) rank second in the league in defensive efficiency and are limiting the opposition to 112.7 points per contest. On Tuesday, Detroit assisted on 30 of 48 made field goals and shot 63 percent overall during a 128-106 road loss against Los Angeles.

All-Star G Cade Cunningham led five Detroit players in double figures with 27 points (12-19 FG) and 11 assists. Marcus Sasser chipped in 19 points and five assists in 24 minutes off the bench. Jalen Duren added 14 points and eight rebounds for the Pistons.
