Last night, Miami trailed by 19 points at halftime and shot 56 percent from the field during a 128-114 road loss against Toronto.

Miami F/C Bam Adebayo tallied a team-high 24 points (9-14 FG), 11 rebounds, and eight assists. Davion Mitchell scored 15 points on 7-for-9 shooting and dished out 11 assists. Tyler Herro and Jaime Jaquez Jr. added 15 points apiece for the Heat, who connected on 14-for-35 from the three-point line.

Wizards Preview

The Washington Wizards are in the midst of an eight-game losing streak and own the worst record in the NBA. The Wizards (17-63) rank near the bottom of the league in defensive efficiency and are surrendering 124.6 points per contest. Last night, Washington missed 28 of 38 long distance attempts and shot just 40 percent overall during a 119-108 home loss versus Chicago.

Will Riley led six Washington players in double figures with 23 points (1-9 3PT) to go along with nine rebounds and seven assists. Rookie F Julian Reese scored 16 points on 5-for-14 shooting and grabbed 15 rebounds. Leaky Black added 14 points and nine boards for the Wizards, who fell to 11-29 at home.
