On Thursday, Minnesota erased a 20-point second half deficit before falling at home versus Los Angeles by a 116-115 final score.

Minnesota F Julius Randle tallied a game-high 33 points (10-20 FG), six assists, and five rebounds. Jaden McDaniels added 30 points (11-19 FG) and seven rebounds for the Timberwolves, who nailed half of their 30 three-point attempts.

Hornets Preview

The Charlotte Hornets are looking to snap a nine-year postseason drought and have the talent to break through in the Eastern Conference. The Hornets (2-3) rank fifth in the league in offensive efficiency and are averaging 124 points per contest. On Thursday, Charlotte turned the ball over 21 times during a 123-107 home loss versus Orlando.

Collin Sexton led four Charlotte players in double figures with 19 points and four assists in 25 minutes off the bench. LaMelo Ball scored 17 points (8-19 FG) to go along with 13 assists and seven rebounds. Rookie C Ryan Kalkbrenner added 17 points and seven boards for the Hornets.
