In the first game of a Wednesday night NBA on ESPN doubleheader, the Minnesota Timberwolves will square off against the New York Knicks from Madison Square Garden. On Monday, Minnesota outscored Brooklyn by 13 points in the fourth quarter to earn a 125-109 road triumph.

Minnesota G Donte DiVincenzo matched a game-high with 25 points (8-17 FG) to go along with nine rebounds and five assists. Jaden McDaniels converted 9-for-11 field goal attempts and finished with 22 points. Julius Randle added 19 points, 11 rebounds, and ten assists for the Timberwolves.

Knicks Preview

The New York Knicks have won four playoff series in the last three years and are looking to win their first NBA Championship since 1973. The Knicks (4-3) rank 12th in the league in offensive efficiency and are averaging 116.3 points per contest for first year-head coach Mike Brown. On Monday, New York assisted on 32 of 44 made field goals and shot 47 percent overall during a 119-102 home victory versus Washington.

All-Star F/C Karl-Anthony Towns led all scorers with 33 points on 12-for-24 shooting and secured 13 rebounds. New York F OG Anunoby contributed 16 points, six rebounds, and five steals. Jordan Clarkson added 15 points in 16 minutes off the bench for the Knicks.
