NBA Parlay
- San Antonio Spurs vs New Orleans Pelicans – Spurs -9.5 (-110)
- Phoenix Suns vs Minnesota Timberwolves – Timberwolves -9.5 (-110)
Leg 1 – San Antonio Spurs vs New Orleans Pelicans
San Antonio enters this matchup at 15–7, sitting 5th in the West, and having gone 7–3 in their last 10 games. Even without Victor Wembanyama, the Spurs continue to score efficiently (118.9 PPG) and push the pace with De’Aaron Fox playing at an All-NBA level, averaging 25.0 PPG on 49.2% shooting.
Their recent schedule includes solid wins over Memphis, Orlando, Minnesota, and a huge upset over Denver. The only recent loss came to Cleveland, and even then the Spurs put up 117 points.

Meanwhile, New Orleans comes in at 3–21, losers of six straight, and sitting dead last in the West. The Pelicans allow 123.2 PPG, one of the worst defensive marks in the NBA. They’ve surrendered:
-
119 to Brooklyn
-
125 to Minnesota
-
149 to Minnesota
-
133 to the Lakers
-
104 to Golden State
Offensively, they’re without major scoring threats:
-
Zion Williamson – OUT
-
Dejounte Murray – OUT
-
Jordan Poole – OUT
-
Herbert Jones – GTD
This Pelicans roster is thin, young, and lacking direction, especially on defense.
San Antonio holds major advantages in:
-
Offensive efficiency (118.9 PPG to 112.3 PPG)
-
Field goal percentage (49% to 45%)
-
Assists (25.8 to 23.9)
-
Turnover creation (8.6 steals per game)
The matchup predictor gives San Antonio a 73.1% chance to win, and the talent gap here is massive. With New Orleans collapsing defensively and running a patchwork rotation, San Antonio covering -9.5 is the strongest play for this leg.

Leg 2 – Phoenix Suns vs Minnesota Timberwolves
Minnesota enters this matchup red-hot at 15–8, riding a 5-game winning streak, and playing some of their best basketball of the season. They score 120.3 PPG, shoot 49%, and are playing elite defense in crunch time. Their last five results include wins over the Clippers, Pelicans (twice), Spurs, and Celtics.
Anthony Edwards continues to evolve into an MVP-level star with 28.1 PPG on nearly 49% shooting, while Minnesota thrives off balanced ball movement with 26.5 assists per game.
Phoenix, on the other hand, is battered and inconsistent. They sit at 13–10, but they arrive in Minnesota missing major firepower:
-
Devin Booker – OUT
-
Jalen Green – OUT
-
Isaiah Livers – OUT
-
Dillon Brooks – GTD
Without Booker and Green, Phoenix lacks shot creation. Bradley Beal is no longer on the roster, Kevin Durant is in Houston now, and this version of the Suns struggles when missing its primary scorers.
Recent Suns games show their struggle against elite teams:
-
Lost by 19 to Houston
-
Lost by 18 to Denver
-
Lost by 4 to OKC
-
Lost by 17 to Minnesota earlier this season
The Suns allow 113.8 PPG, but their real issue is depth. Minnesota’s second unit outmatches Phoenix’s depleted rotation, and the matchup predictor gives the Timberwolves a robust 70.7% chance to win.
At home, Minnesota is almost automatic at 8–3, and they’ve covered repeatedly in similar injury-advantage spots.
Minnesota -9.5 is the best value for this second leg.

Final Parlay Thoughts
A parlay only cashes when both legs connect, but Monday’s slate presents two excellent opportunities. San Antonio’s explosive offense and New Orleans’ defensive collapse create a massive mismatch, while Minnesota faces a severely depleted Phoenix team that struggles without Booker. Both favorites should control the game from start to finish.
If both play to their averages, this Monday parlay carries strong value.
