On Tuesday, New Orleans erupted for 95 points in the second half and set a franchise record for points in a game during a 156-137 home victory versus Utah.

New Orleans G Jeremiah Fears scored a rookie franchise record 40 points on 17-for-29 shooting to go along with six assists and five rebounds. Jordan Poole connected on 7-for-16 from long distance and finished with 34 points. Rookie C Derik Queen added 17 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists for the Pelicans.

Celtics Preview

The Boston Celtics have won 28 of their 39 home games and need one victory in their final two games to clinch second seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs. The Celtics (54-26) rank third in the league in offensive efficiency and are scoring a shade below 115 points per contest. Last night, Boston was unable to make the plays down the stretch of a 112-106 road loss against New York.

Jayson Tatum led five Boston players in double figures with 24 points (7-22 FG) to go along with 13 rebounds and eight assists. Payton Pritchard scored 23 points on 10-for-20 shooting in 36 minutes off the bench. Neemias Queta added ten points and ten rebounds for the Celtics.
