On Thursday, New Orleans was outscored by 11 points during the fourth quarter of a 125-116 home loss versus Minnesota.

Trey Murphy III led six New Orleans players in double figures with 21 points (7-17 FG) and eight assists. Rookie G Jeremiah Fears and F Saddiq Bey scored 20 points apiece on a combined 16-for-34 shooting. Bryce McGowens added 15 points and five assists for the Pelicans.

Nets Preview

The Brooklyn Nets have dropped ten of their first 11 home games and are playing the youngest roster in the NBA. The Nets (5-17) rank near the bottom of the league in defensive efficiency and are surrendering 118 points per contest. On Thursday, Brooklyn was unable to protect a 15-point second half lead during a 123-110 home loss versus Utah.

Brooklyn F Noah Clowney converted 10-for-12 from the charity stripe and finished with a team-high 29 points. Ziaire Williams scored 23 points on 7-for-14 shooting in 28 minutes off the bench. Rookie F Danny Wolf added 17 points and nine rebounds for the Nets, who missed 31 of 42 three-point attempts.
