On Tuesday, New Orleans connected on 15-for-34 from the three-point line and shot 51 percent overall during a 121-116 road loss against New York.

Former number one overall draft pick Zion Williamson led six New Orleans players in double figures with 22 points (8-10 FG). Jeremiah Fears scored 21 points on 9-for-12 shooting in 20 minutes off the bench. Trey Murphy III added 16 points (4-12 3PT) and six boards for the Pelicans, who fell to 9-26 on the road.

Pistons Preview

The Detroit Pistons have won 27 of their first 36 home games and are four games clear of Boston for the top spot in the Western Conference. The Pistons (52-20) rank second in the league in defensive efficiency and are allowing a shade below 110 points per contest. Last night, Detroit managed just eight points in overtime during a 130-129 home loss versus Atlanta.

All five Detroit starters scored in double figures and were led by All-Star C Jalen Duren with 26 points (9-15 FG). Daniss Jenkins scored 19 points on 6-for-13 shooting and dished out ten assists. Ausar Thompson added 18 points and five assists for the Pistons.
