76ers Preview

The Philadelphia 76ers are a game above .500 at home and hold a one-game lead over Miami for sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings. The 76ers (26-21) rank 11th in the league in defensive efficiency and are giving up 115.8 points per contest. On Thursday, Tyrese Maxey scored a layup with 1.8 seconds remaining to lift Philadelphia to a 113-111 home victory versus Sacramento.

Maxey finished with a game-high 40 points on 12-for-18 shooting and dished out eight assists. Philadelphia C Joel Embiid continued his recent torrid stretch with 37 points (13-21 FG) and eight assists. Paul George added 15 points (7-15 FG) and five assists for the 76ers, who shot 54 percent from the field.
