On Wednesday, New Orleans made the plays down the stretch to escape with a 101-99 road victory against Dallas.

New Orleans F Saddiq Bey tallied a game-high 22 points on 9-for-14 shooting and secured nine rebounds. Jeremiah Fears and Jose Alvarado scored 13 points apiece. Rookie C Derik Queen added 11 points and seven rebounds for the Pelicans, who outrebounded the Mavericks by a 56-44 margin.

Spurs Preview

The San Antonio Spurs are undefeated through their first four home games and are looking to make their first postseason appearance since 2019. The Spurs (6-2) rank second in the league in defensive efficiency and are allowing a shade below 110 points per contest. Last night, San Antonio forced 20 turnovers during a 121-110 home victory versus division rival Houston.

All five San Antonio starters scored in double figures and were led by Harrison Barnes with 24 points. All-Star F/C Victor Wembanyama and Julian Champagnie scored 22 points each on a combined 14-for-30 from the field. Stephon Castle added 14 points, 13 assists, and six rebounds for the Spurs.
