New York F OG Anunoby led all scorers with 29 points on 9-for-16 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds. All-Star G Jalen Brunson scored 26 points on 11-for-23 from the floor and dropped four dimes. All-Star F/C Karl-Anthony Towns added 21 points and 17 rebounds for the Knicks.

The Atlanta Hawks won 20 of their last 26 games to close the regular season and are looking to win their first playoff series since 2021. The sixth-seeded Hawks (2-1) stole game two on the road and improved to tenth in the league in defensive efficiency. During Friday’s home victory, Atlanta led by as many as 18 points and shot 45 percent from the field.

All-Star F Jalen Johnson tallied a team-high 24 points (8-19 FG), ten rebounds, and eight assists. Atlanta G C.J. McCollum continued his playoff tear with 23 points (8-19 FG) and five boards. Jonathan Kuminga added 21 points and four rebounds in 28 minutes off the bench for the Hawks.
