In the first game of a Wednesday night NBA on ESPN doubleheader, the Oklahoma City Thunder will square off against the Detroit Pistons from Little Caesars Arena. Last night, Oklahoma City outscored Toronto by 16 points in the second quarter during a 116-107 road victory.

Oklahoma City G Cason Wallace tallied a game-high 27 points (11-16 FG), eight rebounds, and six assists. Isaiah Joe knocked down 6-for-11 from long distance and finished with 22 points. Alex Caruso added 16 points and four assists off the Thunder bench.

Pistons Preview

The Detroit Pistons have won eight of their last ten games and are sitting comfortably atop the Eastern Conference standings. The Pistons (42-14) rank second in the league in defensive efficiency and are allowing 109.4 points per contest. On Monday, Detroit missed 29 of 36 three-point attempts and shot a frigid 38 percent overall during a 114-103 home loss versus San Antonio.

All-Star C Jalen Duren led five Detroit players in double figures with 25 points (10-13 FG) and 14 rebounds. MVP candidate Cade Cunningham scored 16 points on a dismal 5-for-26 shooting effort and dished out ten assists. Ronald Holland II added 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Pistons, who fell to 21-7 at home.
