The eighth-seeded Magic (3-3) have already won twice on the road in the series and are looking to advance to the second round of the playoffs for the first time since 2010. In Game Six, Orlando was unable to protect a 22-point halftime lead during a 93-79 home loss.

Former number one overall draft pick Paolo Banchero (4-20 FG) and Desmond Bane led Orlando with 17 points each, Banchero missed all ten three-point attempts and grabbed ten rebounds. Tristan da Silva added ten points and six boards for the Magic, who were outscored 31-8 in the fourth quarter.

Pistons Preview

The Detroit Pistons were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs a season ago and it would be a major disappointment to suffer the same fate. The top-seeded Pistons (3-3) ranked second in the league in defensive efficiency and have been even better on that end of the floor in this series. During Friday’s road victory, Detroit outrebounded Orlando by a 52-38 margin and held them to 35 percent shooting.

All-Star G Cade Cunningham tallied a game-high 32 points (10-23 FG), ten rebounds, and four steals. Detroit F Tobias Harris contributed 22 points on 7-for-20 shooting and secured ten boards. Duncan Robinson added 14 points and five rebounds for the Pistons.
