The eighth-seeded Magic (3-1) stole the series opener on the road and are seeking their first playoff series victory since 2010. In Game Four, Orlando forced 23 turnovers and converted them into 23 points to earn a gritty 94-88 home victory.

Desmond Bane led four Orlando players in double figures with 22 points (5-10 3PT) and five rebounds. Franz Wagner contributed 19 points (7-15 FG), five boards, and four steals. Former number one overall draft pick Paolo Banchero added 18 points (4-18 FG), eight rebounds, and four assists.

Pistons Preview

Last season, the Detroit Pistons were bounced in the first round of the playoffs and are in danger of suffering the same fate. The top-seeded Pistons (1-3) ranked second in the league in defensive efficiency and limited opponents to 109.6 points per contest. During Monday’s road loss, Detroit missed 24 of 30 three-point attempts and managed just 36 points in the second half.

All-Star G Cade Cunningham tallied a game-high 25 points (7-23 FG), nine rebounds, and six assists. Cunningham turned the ball over eight times and finished with a minus seven rating. Detroit F Tobias Harris scored 20 points on 8-for-17 shooting and pulled down six boards. All-Star C Jalen Duren added 12 points and eight rebounds for the Pistons.
