The seventh-seeded 76ers (3-3) trailed 3-1 in this best-of-seven series and are looking to advance to the second round of the playoffs for the first time since 2023. In Game Six, Philadelphia outscored Boston by ten points in the third quarter to pull away for a 106-93 home victory.

All-Star G Tyrese Maxey erupted for a game-high 30 points on 11-for-22 shooting and dished out five assists. Philadelphia G/F Paul George knocked down 5-for-9 from long distance and finished with 23 points. Joel Embiid added 19 points (6-18 FG), ten rebounds, and eight assists for the 76ers.

Celtics Preview

The Boston Celtics were in cruise control in this series, but have dropped the previous two games by double digits. The second-seeded Celtics (3-3) ranked second in the league in offensive efficiency, but have failed to score 100 points in their last three losses. During Thursday’s road loss, Boston missed 29 of 41 three-point attempts and shot just 42 percent overall.

All-Star G Jaylen Brown led four Boston players in double figures with 18 points and finished with a minus 24 rating. Jayson Tatum scored 17 points on 6-for-13 shooting and grabbed 11 rebounds. Payton Pritchard added 14 points and five assists off the bench for the Celtics.

76ers vs Celtics Pick
