The Tuesday NBA playoff schedule will get started with Game Five between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Boston Celtics from TD Garden. For other NBA action see our NBA Predictions. The seventh-seeded 76ers (1-3) stole Game Two on the road, but with one more loss will fail to reach the second round for the third straight year. In Game Four, Philadelphia missed 21 of 30 three-point attempts and shot just 41 percent overall during a 128-96 home loss.

Payton Pritchard led all scorers with 32 points (6-12 3PT) and five assists in 35 minutes off the Boston bench. Jayson Tatum contributed 30 points (9-9 FT), 11 assists, and seven rebounds. All-Star G Jaylen Brown added 20 points (6-15 FG) and seven rebounds for the Celtics.

Celtics Preview

The Boston Celtics entered the season with little hope of a deep postseason run with Jayson Tatum recovering from Achilles surgery. The second-seeded Celtics (3-1) won 30 of 41 home games during the regular season and ranked second in the league in offensive efficiency. During Sunday’s road triumph, Boston nailed 24-for-53 from long distance and dominated Philadelphia on the glass by a 51-30 margin.

Philadelphia C Joel Embiid tallied a team-high 26 points (9-21 FG), ten rebounds, and six assists. All-Star G Tyrese Maxey scored 22 points on 7-for-14 shooting and dished out six assists. Paul George added 16 points and four boards for the 76ers.
