On Tuesday, Philadelphia needed overtime to escape with a 139-136 road victory against Memphis.

Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey led all scorers with 34 points on a combined 24-for-49 shooting effort. Rookie G V.J. Edgecombe contributed 25 points (5-10 3 PT), six rebounds, and four assists. Paul George added 17 points for the 76ers, who were outrebounded by a 51-41 margin.

Mavericks Preview

The Dallas Mavericks are looking to snap a three-game losing streak and are 2.5 games out of tenth place in the Western Conference standings. The Mavericks (12-22) rank near the bottom of the league in offensive efficiency and are scoring 113.7 points per contest. On Monday, Dallas was unable to make the plays down the stretch of a 125-122 road loss against Portland.

Max Christie led six Dallas players in double figures with 25 points (8-12 FG) and five assists. Brandon Williams scored 22 points on 8-for-12 shooting in 30 minutes off the bench. Number one overall draft pick Cooper Flagg added 15 points (6-20 FG) and eight assists for the Mavericks.
