In Game One, Philadelphia committed 19 turnovers and shot just 40 percent from the field during a non-competitive 137-98 road loss.

All five Philadelphia starters scored in double figures and were led by Paul George with 17 points. Joel Embiid converted 8-for-9 free throws and finished with 14 points. All-Star G Tyrese Maxey added 13 points and three boards for the 76ers, who were outrebounded by a 39-28 margin.

Knicks Preview

The New York Knicks have won an NBA record three straight playoff games by 25 plus points and are in search of their first NBA title since 1973. The third-seeded Knicks (1-0) ranked second in the league in offensive efficiency and averaged 116.5 points per contest for first year head coach Mike Brown. During Monday’s home victory, New York connected on 19-for-37 from the three-point line and shot a scorching 63 percent overall.

All-Star G Jalen Brunson poured in a game-high 35 points on 12-for-18 shooting in just 31 minutes of action. New York F OG Anunoby continues his stellar postseason play with 18 points and a plus 22 rating. All-Star F/C Karl-Anthony Towns and Mikal Bridges added 17 points apiece for the Knicks.
