In Sunday afternoon NBA action, the Philadelphia 76ers will travel to the Paycom Center to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder. For other NBA action see our NBA Predictions. The 76ers (16-13) are two games above .500 on the road and are a half-game back of Toronto for fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings. On Friday, Philadelphia managed just two points over the final four plus minutes of a 109-102 road loss against Chicago.

Philadelphia C Joel Embiid led all scorers with 31 points on 10-for-19 shooting and grabbed five rebounds. Tyrese Maxey nailed 5-for-11 from long distance and finished with 27 points. Paul George added 15 points, 12 rebounds, and five assists for the 76ers.

Thunder Preview

The Oklahoma City Thunder have lost three of their previous four games and hold a 2.5 game lead for the top spot in the Western Conference. The Thunder (26-5) lead the league in defensive efficiency and are allowing just 107.4 points per contest. On Christmas Day, Oklahoma City missed 33 of 44 three-point attempts and shot an ice cold 39 percent overall during a 117-102 home loss versus San Antonio.

MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led five Oklahoma City players in double figures with 22 points (7-19 FG) and six rebounds. Isaiah Hartenstein added 13 points and 12 rebounds in 24 minutes of action. Jalen Williams and Alex Caruso scored 12 points each for the Thunder, who fell to 14-2 at home.
