The 76ers (41-34) are three games above .500 on the road and are 1.5 games out of fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings. On Monday, Philadelphia missed 26 of 38 three-point attempts and shot 42 percent overall during a 119-109 road loss against Miami.

Joel Embiid led six Philadelphia players in double figures with 26 points (10-25 FG) and seven rebounds. All-Star G Tyrese Maxey scored 23 points (7-20 FG) to go along with nine assists and seven rebounds. Rookie G V.J. Edgecombe added 13 points and five assists for the 76ers.

Wizards Preview

The Washington Wizards have dropped 19 of their previous 20 games and are tied with Indiana for the worst record in the NBA. The Wizards (17-58) rank near the bottom of the league in defensive efficiency and are surrendering 123.9 points per contest. On Monday, Washington was outscored by 22 points during the second quarter of a 120-101 road loss against Los Angeles.

Rookie G Will Riley led Washington with 20 points on 8-for-19 shooting and finished with a game-worst minus 22 rating. Washington F Justin Champagnie added 18 points (8-12 FG) and finished with a plus 11 rating. Tristan Vukcevic added 14 points (4-12 FG) and four steals for the Wizards.
