All-Star G Devin Booker tallied a game-high 30 points (9-11 FT), nine rebounds, and five assists. Phoenix C Mark Williams contributed 24 points on 9-for-13 shooting and secured 13 rebounds. Collin Gillespie added 16 points and nine assists for the Suns.

Pelicans Preview

The New Orleans Pelicans have dropped 13 of their first 19 home games and own the second worst overall record in the Western Conference. The Pelicans (8-24) rank near the bottom of the league in defensive efficiency and are surrendering 122.8 points per contest. During Friday’s home loss, New Orleans missed 20 of 25 three-point attempts and was dominated on the glass by a 53-37 margin.

Former number one overall draft pick Zion Williamson led four New Orleans players in double figures with 20 points and eight rebounds. Trey Murphy and Jordan Poole added 19 points apiece for the Pelicans, who shot a woeful 25-for-42 from the charity stripe.
