On Wednesday, Portland stormed back from a 22-point first half deficit to earn a 121-119 home victory versus Oklahoma City.

Deni Avdija led six Portland players in double figures with 26 points to go along with ten rebounds and nine assists. Jrue Holiday knocked down 6-for-10 from long distance and finished with 22 points. Jerami Grant added 20 points, five rebounds, and five assists off the bench for the Trail Blazers.

Heat Preview

The Miami Heat traded Jimmy Butler to Golden State at the trade deadline and are playing at the fastest tempo in the league for head coach Erik Spoelstra. The Heat (5-4) rank in the middle of the pack in offensive efficiency and are scoring 122.4 points per contest. Last night, Miami erupted for a franchise record 53 points during the first quarter and cruised to a 126-108 home victory versus Charlotte.

Norman Powell led a balanced Miami scoring attack with 20 points on 10-for-20 shooting. Andrew Wiggins scored 22 points (9-16 FG) and finished with a plus 21 rating. Jaime Jacquez Jr. added 18 points, nine assists, and eight rebounds for the Heat.
