On Monday, Sacramento snapped a franchise record 16-game losing streak with a 123-114 road victory against Memphis.

Sacramento G Russell Westbrook led all scorers with 25 points on 8-for-17 shooting and grabbed seven rebounds. Precious Achiuwa contributed 22 points (10-15 FG) and 12 rebounds. DeMar DeRozan added 19 points and four assists for the Kings, who shot 50 percent from the field.

Rockets Preview

The Houston Rockets have won 19 of their first 26 home games and are tied with Denver for third place in the Western Conference standings. The Rockets (35-21) rank sixth in the league in defensive efficiency and are allowing a shade below 110 points per contest. On Monday, Houston raced out to a 16-point lead after one quarter and cruised to a 125-105 home victory versus lowly Utah.

Houston F Jabari Smith Jr. tallied a game-high 31 points (6-11 3 PT), nine rebounds, and four steals. Amen Thompson chipped in 20 points (8-9 FG) and seven rebounds. All-Star F Kevin Durant added 18 points and 12 assists for the Rockets, who shot a sizzling 57 percent from the floor.
