The New Orleans Pelicans are looking to snap a six-game losing streak and own the worst overall record in the NBA. The Pelicans (3-21) rank near the bottom of the league in defensive efficiency and are surrendering 123.2 points per contest. On Saturday, New Orleans trailed by 18 points at halftime during a 119-101 road loss against Brooklyn.

Trey Murphy III led four New Orleans players in double figures with 23 points (10-17 FG), five rebounds, and five assists. Saddiq Bey scored 18 points on 6-for-14 shooting and pulled down five boards. Rookie G Jeremiah Fears added 14 points and five assists for the Pelicans, who fell to 1-10 on the road.
