The Spurs (0-2) have won six of their nine road games and rank second this postseason in defensive efficiency. In Game Two, San Antonio turned the ball over 16 times and was unable to make the plays down the stretch of a 105-104 home loss.

Former number one overall draft pick Victor Wembanyama tallied a game-high 29 points (11-21 FG), nine rebounds, and four blocks. San Antonio G De’Aaron Fox scored 20 points on 8-for-12 shooting and dished out five assists. Rookie G Dylan Harper added 15 points and six rebounds in 32 minutes off the bench for the Spurs.

Knicks Preview

The New York Knicks have won six of their seven playoff home games and are in search of their first NBA Championship since 1973. The Knicks (2-0) have reeled off 13 straight victories overall and lead the postseason in offensive efficiency. During Friday’s road victory, New York connected on 15-for-38 from long distance and led by as many as 14 points.

All-Star F/C Karl-Anthony Towns led five New York players in double figures with 21 points (8-12 FG) and 13 rebounds. Jalen Brunson and Mikal Bridges scored 20 points each on a combined 15-for-38 from the field. OG Anunoby added 17 points (5-10 FG) and four boards for the Knicks, who outscored the Spurs 19-11 in fast break points.
