The fifth-seeded Raptors (46-36) increased their win total by 16 from last year and rank fifth in the league in defensive efficiency. Toronto finished the regular season three games above .500 on the road and is giving up 111.8 points per contest.

All-Star F Brandon Ingram has flourished in his first full season in Toronto. Ingram averaged a team-high 21.5 points to go along with 5.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists. Former number three overall draft pick R.J. Barrett quietly goes about his business with 19.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. All-Star F Scottie Barnes ranked third on the Raptors in scoring (18.1 ppg) and led the club with 7.5 rebounds.

Cavaliers Preview

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been eliminated from the second round of the playoffs in consecutive years and are primed to make another deep run. The fourth-seeded Cavaliers (52-30) won 27 of 41 home games during the regular season and finished with a plus 4.1 point differential. Cleveland ranked fifth in the league in offensive efficiency and scored a shade below 120 points per game.

All-Star G Donovan Mitchell ranked seventh in the NBA in scoring at 27.9 points per game. Mitchell also led Cleveland in assists (5.7 apg) and steals (1.5 spg). James Harden was acquired to be another play maker next to Mitchell and averaged 20.5 points. Evan Mobley is third on the team in scoring (18.2 ppg) to go along with a team-high 9.0 rebounds and 1.7 blocks.
