The Wizards (1-9) are looking to snap an eight-game losing streak and rank near the bottom of the league in defensive efficiency. On Saturday, Washington was outscored by 10 points during the fourth quarter of a 111-105 home loss versus Dallas.

Veteran G C.J. McCollum led five Washington players in double figures with 25 points (9-19 FG) and six boards. Former number two overall draft pick Alex Sarr added 17 points (6-16 FG), six rebounds, and five assists for the Wizards.

Pistons Preview

The Detroit Pistons snapped a five-year postseason drought last season and are looking to win their first playoff series since 2008. The Pistons have established a defensive identity for head coach J.B. Bickerstaff and are allowing a shade below 111 points per contest. Detroit lost some key pieces from their bench but should be a factor in the Eastern Conference for years to come.

Former number one overall draft pick Cade Cunningham leads Detroit with 25.6 points and close to ten assists per game. Jalen Duren is an inside force and ranks sixth in the NBA with 11,3 rebounds per contest. Ausar Thompson (13.9 ppg) is a versatile defensive stopper and his offense continues to improve.
