All-Star G Jalen Brunson poured in a game-high 39 points on 15-for-23 shooting and dished out eight assists. New York F OG Anunoby chipped in 17 points (5-8 FG) and ten rebounds. All-Star F/C Karl-Anthony Towns added 16 points, 14 rebounds, and six assists for the Knicks.

Hawks Preview

The Atlanta Hawks won 20 of 26 games to finish the regular season and have not won a playoff series since 2021. The sixth-seeded Hawks (2-3) improved to tenth in the league in defensive efficiency and allowed 116 points per contest. During Tuesday’s road loss, Atlanta was pummeled on the glass by a 48-27 margin and missed 29 of 42 three-point attempts.

All-Star F Jalen Johnson led five Atlanta players in double figures with 18 points (7-15 FG), ten rebounds, and six assists. Dyson Daniels was more aggressive on offensive and finished with 17 points. Onyeka Okongwu and Nickeil Alexander-Walker added 16 points each for the Hawks.
