But Carolina presents a different challenge. The Hurricanes put enormous pressure on opponents with their forecheck and shot volume. Boston must be disciplined through the neutral zone and avoid giving Carolina repeated offensive-zone possessions.
Carolina Can Win the Territorial Battle

I’ll take Carolina at a manageable price. Boston is playing terrific hockey, and I wouldn’t argue with anybody who wants the Bruins as an underdog. But Carolina’s shot generation and territorial pressure are a strong combination at home. The Hurricanes should spend more time attacking, and I’ll take that advantage in a close game.
Under 6.5 Goals — Target
I’m leaning under 6.5 despite both teams averaging nearly four goals. That’s the uncomfortable part of the pick. But Boston has allowed only 26 in twelve games, and Carolina has surrendered just 33 in thirteen. These are two clubs capable of defending against quality opposition. If the goaltending holds up, 3-2 Carolina is a reasonable outcome.
