Winnipeg Needs to Keep This Game in Its Comfort Zone
The Jets get the benefit of Canada Life Centre, and that matters against a Colorado team that can be difficult to slow once it starts generating momentum. Winnipeg’s best route is making Colorado work through layers rather than allowing the Avalanche to attack with speed.

The Jets should still create their share of offense at home, which is why I don’t expect this to become an entirely defensive game. The question is whether Winnipeg can produce enough without opening things up so much that Colorado’s speed takes over.
