New York Rangers vs Seattle Kraken Picks and Prediction for Saturday November 7 2026
The Rangers head to Seattle on Saturday for a 5 PM ET game against the Kraken at Climate Pledge Arena. New York just beat Philadelphia 3-2 on Thursday, while Seattle is coming off a 2-1 overtime victory against Calgary. Both teams have been winning enough games to stay in the playoff conversation, but there’s one number that jumps off the page. The Rangers have won only once on the road. Seattle has been much better at home, and that’s where I’m leaning.
New York Rangers Have Been Struggling Away From Home
New York is 9-7-1 after beating Philadelphia on Thursday. The Rangers have won two straight, including a 3-1 victory against St. Louis on Tuesday. That’s encouraging, especially after a rough stretch in late October. But the Rangers are only 1-5-1 on the road, and that’s difficult to ignore heading into a trip across the country.
New York has scored 51 goals through 17 games and allowed 49. That’s three goals scored and 2.88 allowed per night. The numbers aren’t terrible, but the Rangers haven’t been getting consistent results away from Madison Square Garden. They’ve been doing a pretty good job killing penalties, but the offense has been less dependable on the road.
The biggest issue remains in goal. Igor Shesterkin is out for the season following a lower-body injury, and Joonas Korpisalo has also been unavailable. Sean Durzi, Joseph Veleno, Adam Sykora, and Aidan Thompson are dealing with injuries as well. That’s a lot to work around, particularly against a Seattle team that’s been scoring more than three goals a night.

Seattle Kraken Have Been Tough at Home
Seattle is 9-5-1 after beating Calgary 2-1 in overtime Wednesday. The Kraken have won six of their last 10 games, and they’ve been pretty good at Climate Pledge Arena. Seattle is 5-2 at home, and that’s a big advantage against a Rangers team that’s been struggling on the road.
The Kraken have scored 52 goals in 15 games, averaging 3.47 per night. They’ve also allowed 53, which works out to 3.53 against. That’s the problem. Seattle can score, but the defense has been giving up plenty of opportunities. The Kraken have been winning games despite allowing too many goals, and that isn’t always sustainable.
Seattle has some injuries to work around. Jared McCann is out with a lower-body injury, while Ryan Lindgren, Jake O’Brien, Curtis Douglas, and Jacob Melanson are also unavailable. Those absences hurt the depth, but the Kraken have been finding enough offense to stay competitive. Against a New York team missing its top goaltender, I think Seattle gets some good chances.
New York Rangers vs Seattle Kraken Picks and Prediction
Moneyline Pick: Seattle Kraken
I’m taking Seattle. New York has won two straight, and I know the Rangers have been playing better lately. But one road win in seven tries is a pretty ugly number. Seattle is 5-2 at home, and the Kraken have been scoring almost three and a half goals per game. The Rangers could win if they keep this tight and get good goaltending. That’s possible. But I trust Seattle more in this building, especially with New York dealing with injuries in goal.
Total Pick: Over 5.5 Goals
Give me the over 5.5 if that’s the number. Seattle is averaging 3.47 goals and allowing 3.53. That’s seven combined goals per game involving the Kraken. New York has been a little better defensively, but the Rangers are missing important goaltending depth. Seattle’s defense also gives New York opportunities to score. The concern is that both teams just played lower-scoring games, and another tight one could certainly happen. But I think both teams find enough offense to push this past five goals.
Final Picks: Seattle Kraken Moneyline | Over 5.5 Goals (if available)
