Sharks vs Red Wings
The Sharks and the Red Wings are coming in with some great play on the year for a couple of teams that have struggled lately. Still, the Sharks are coming in as the underdog on the money line, but that is not what I am looking at. I am looking at the puck line in this game here. The puck line has the Sharks at a +1.5, but it is sitting at a -142. I think that is a fair number and one that is easily won as both the Sharks and the Red Wings are evenly matched on paper and on the lines.
Panthers vs Hurricanes
The Panthers and the Hurricanes have supplied plenty of great matchups in the past and this year it has been no different. The main difference is the Panthers have won the season series already, but still the total in this game is set for 6.5 goals and both games this year have finished over that mark. I look for this game to be much the same and for the total to get blown up in this game as well.
Lightning vs Blues
Lets look at the Lightning taking on the Blues and the total in this game. The total is set at only 5.5 and I have to say that does look feasible, but at the same time I think it is low. The over is what I am looking at in this game here as both teams have potential to see Tampa score a lot of goals. The Lightning put in 3.51 goals per game, but the Blue defense gives up 3.38 goals a game. That makes me think the Lightning will get closer to the 4 goals mark and the Blues will only get 2, but still that is over 5.5.

Predators vs Avalanche
Colorado is playing at home in this game and that is a place the Avalanche have yet to lose a game outright at home. That makes it easier to pick the Avalanche in this game, but honestly at a -310 thats not good money. So I looked for a different angle and found one that is covering the puck line. The Avalanche are a -1.5 and sitting at a -125 on the day currently. That is the line that I am picking as the Avalanche have a very potent offense and a defense that is very stingy and does not give up a lot of goals.
Ducks vs Kings
The Ducks and the Kings are a couple of programs that have played decent at times, but cannot keep the decent play staying consistent. However, that does not make this a game that is going to be easy to figure out right away as to who will win, even with the Kings being heavily favored. Still, the aspect that I am looking at is the under in this game here. The total is set at 6.5 goals and I have to say that does look good to me as the Kings are getting only 2.59 goals a game and allowing 2.74, but the Ducks are getting 3.24 goals and allowing 3.67. With the weaker Kings offense I do not see the Ducks defense being challenged a lot and that makes it easier to see the total hit the under.
