NHL Parlay for Friday 1/16/26
The NHL has a very light schedule for games being played on Friday, but it does give us plenty of options for the parlay. Now, the downside is we only have 5 games total to pick from and that makes it a little bit harder for us to find the best NHL parlay for Friday 1/16/26, but we have done the hard work and found them. My Parlay Bets
- Sharks vs Red Wings - San Jose Sharks +1.5 (-142)
- Lightning vs Blues - Over 5.5 (-125)
Leg 1 - Sharks vs Red Wings
The Sharks and the Red Wings are facing off on the ice against each other in this game here. However, the Sharks and the Red Wings is a game that I am looking at the puck line. The Red Wings are favored at a -1.5 in the game here, but the teams are way too evenly matched for me to see the Red Wings covering the puck line, unless they get an empty netter late in the game, but I do not even see that happening. I look for the Sharks to cover the puck line at a +1.5 in the game here and at a -142 its a decent money bet.
Leg 2 - Lightning vs Blues
I think the oddsmakers are trying to bait you into thinking this is a good under pick, but the over is what I like here. The Lightning are putting in almost 3.5 goals on their own and the Blues are getting 2.5 goals a game as well. However, the Blues defense is giving up a goal more per game than the Lightning at 3.38 goals per game allowed and the Lightning are giving up only 2.56 goals a game. Those figures, though, and the fact that Saint Louis has a very shaky defense is leading me to think this game will hit the over as the Lightning are able to put in an extra goal or two.
