Tuesday provides a different challenge. Detroit gets the home ice and should play with urgency, but Ottawa arrives with confidence rather than searching for answers. That matters in what looks like another potentially tight Atlantic Division game.

Detroit Needs to Settle Things Down
The opening portion of Detroit’s season has already produced some noise around the club, and the Red Wings could use a straightforward hockey game where the discussion stays on what happens on the ice.
This is a useful opportunity. Ottawa is coming off an emotional road win over Toronto, while Detroit gets to play at Little Caesars Arena. The Red Wings need to establish themselves physically and avoid allowing Ottawa to dictate the game from the start.
