Linus Ullmark, expected to get the nod again for Ottawa, has had a tough start, allowing over four goals per game with a sub-.850 save percentage. He’ll need to be sharper if the Senators hope to contain a Kraken team that moves the puck well and generates high-danger chances. That said, Seattle will be on the second half of a back-to-back, which could open the door for Ottawa to push the pace early and capitalize on tired legs.

Seattle enters the matchup 2-0-1, though they too are coming off an overtime loss, falling 5–4 to Montreal on Tuesday night. Still, they’ve shown more consistency than Ottawa through three games, getting strong contributions throughout the lineup.

This game may ultimately come down to which goaltender can steal a period, or the game. With both clubs coming off losses, there should be desperation on display, and Ottawa, returning home, will be eager to turn things around. Expect a tight battle with momentum swings, but the Senators need a complete effort to get back in the win column.
