| NFL | (141) Cincinnati Bengals at (142) Buffalo Bills | 1:00pm EST - Dec 7/2025 |
The PLAY: Buffalo Bills -5.5 (-109)
The Bengals have won-and-covered the last two meetings between these AFC North foes, with the last one being a 24-18 home win in November 2023. Cincinnati pulled off an impressive upset win at Baltimore in Joe Burrow's return, but it's fair to question how much of that was the Bengals and how much of that was the Ravens' imploding. Baltimore turned the ball over five times, but the Bengals went 1-for-6 in the red zone and settled for six Evan McPherson field goal attempts. Burrow was solid, but not spectacular, in his return going 24-of-46 through the air for 261 yards and two touchdowns. His favorite target, Ja'Marr Chase, caught seven balls for 110 yards. No. 2 wide receiver Tee Higgins is hopeful to return this week after missing that win over the Ravens. A lot of the same questions can be asked about the Bills' 26-7 road win in Pittsburgh. The Bills did their job, but how much of that result can be attributed toward the Steelers' implosion? Six of Buffalo's last eight games have stayed under the total. Cincinnati's last three games have stayed under the total. Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid is questionable to return this week as he recovers from a hamstring injury. Our power ratings are right in line with this opening spread, so we're not showing too much value on either side. We're inclined to back Buffalo, especially if this spread stays below six points. It's easy to get caught up in the hype of Burrow, Chase and Higgins, but let's not forget that Cincinnati's defense is still at the bottom of the league in almost every major metric.
