These two teams are trending in complete opposite directions, and I think we're getting a very favorable price on the Wild in this spot. Minnesota has been rolling recently, going 8-1-1 in their last 10 games. They'll take on a Vancouver side that is officially the worst team in the NHL with only 23 points (10-15-3). The Canucks have dropped 10 of their last 12 games (2-7-3).
Additionally, we've seen the emergence of Jesper Wallstedt in net for Minnesota. The goaltender is 8-0-2 this season, ranking first in GAA (1.74), SV (.944), and shutouts (4). He draws a Vancouver offense that's just 23rd in G/60 minutes (2.84). The Canucks have also been a mess defensively, ranking dead last in GAA (3.57) and 30th on the PK (71.58%). The Wild are set up to thrive on both ends of the ice, and I expect them to secure the two points.

Points are always plentiful when these two teams square off, as the over has cashed in 10 of the last 14 meetings between the programs. Both offenses are averaging 32+ PPG this season, which is 35th or better in the entire country. Plus, with Alabama RB Jam Miller questionable, we could see the Tide really lean into the passing attack in this one. That may be to their benefit anyway, as they're just 107th in yards per rush attempt (3.71) and taking on a top-15 run defense. Each team is primed to hit the mid-20s, which will be enough to help us clear this number.
