At Johns Hopkins University, he co-leads the Institute for Assured Autonomy and runs the Information Security Institute, teaches in Computer Science, and collaborates with the Malone Center for Engineering in Healthcare. Before that he did cutting-edge research at AT&T Bell Labs, taught at Princeton, and led Motorola’s Cambridge Research Center. He earned his BS, MS, and PhD in EECS from JHU, and he’s a Fellow of the prestigious IEEE.
