#1 FOOTBALL SINCE 2023 | #1 FOOTBALL SINCE 2024 | DEFENDING FOOTBALL CHAMPION
Defending Football Champion Ben Burns lost his big play with Georgia yesterday. (He did win his other two.) Needless to say, that wasn't how he hoped to start the year. Don't expect it slow him down though.
Recall that New Year's Day 2025 didn't go as planned either. Yet, it didn't stop Ben from finishing January with a 51-26 (+81.84) record, the #1 record for the month. History repeats, as Burns bounces back big and delivers another monster month. Make sure you're a part of it.

| NHL | (41) Seattle Kraken at (42) Vancouver Canucks: Spread | 10:37pm EST - Jan 2/2026 |
The PLAY: Seattle Kraken +1.5 (-142)
With Vancouver a heavy favorite on the ML, we're able to get an extra +1.5 goals with the Kraken on the PL, for a relatively reasonable price. Yes, Seattle will be playing its second game in two days. However, that doesn't mean that this game won't be highly competitive. These teams just met at Seattle, on 12/29. Once again, the Kraken were also playing their second game in two days. They were still tied with the Canucks after regulation though, eventually losing 3-2 in a S/O.
I looked back and that makes five 1-goal games in a row, when Seattle was playing the second of b2b games. As mentioned, the Kraken lost 3-2 to Vancouver in a shootout. Prior to that, their previous four instances when playing the second of b2b games had scores of 3-2, 3-2, 0-1 and 1-2.
There's more. The Canucks are 3-13 their last 16 home games, 0-5 their last five. Of those 16 games, only one resulted in a win of greater than a goal, a 4-2 win over the Wild on 12/6. Let's go with the revenge-minded Kraken, on the puck-line.
