Stepping right into the Twilight Zone with this one (Nations League D), but for a good reason. I absolutely love to bet Over Cards in these matches, simply because these teams are basically fighting to prove who is the least terrible. We almost always see a bunch of cards in matches involving teams like Malta, Gibraltar, Andorra, Moldova, San Marino etc.
For context, Malta and Gibraltar have never met in an official match, but they have played three friendlies, producing 3/6 cards (no stats for the third match), which goes to show how competitive they are against one another, even in friendlies.
Malta clearly the better side here, they are a step above Gibraltar, they got at least 2-3 players who link up really good with each other while Gibraltar are just plain bad.
Malta ML looks like a solid parlay piece, but I expect a rough game with a lot of cards, so you never know if a Red Card pops up (and it could be for Malta). Malta ML is just a thought if you want to risk.
